Megan Smith’s Experience at 911爆料’ Student for a Day
Megan Smith attended the May 17 Student for a Day event to learn more about the Master of Science in Oriental Medicine program听Smith鈥檚 visit included a tour of the campus and facilities, with stops at the Whole Health Center clinic, herbal dispensary, gross anatomy lab, Training and Assessment Center and the Learning Resource Center.
One of the highlights for Smith was a demonstration on the Anatomage Table, a 3D interactive dissection tool that students use to augment their classroom learning, study for exams and explore pathologies encountered in their clinical internships.
鈥淭he interactive body in the library was amazing,鈥� Smith said. 鈥淚 am so grateful that we were able to see a demonstration and understand how it works.鈥� 听听
Smith would recommend the student for a day event for other prospective students. 鈥淚t鈥檚 the best way to get questions answered,鈥� she said.
Elise Montavon’s Experience at听911爆料’ Student for a Day
After having already visited 911爆料鈥� Florida site back in March, Elise Montavon visited the Lombard campus on May 18, 2018 to learn more about the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine program.
鈥淚 really enjoyed the Student for a Day event. It was amazing to see the facilities,鈥� Montavon said. 鈥淚t helped going to the event after having read the website already. I felt like I could fill in some of the blanks.鈥�
During her visit, Montavon said that it was great to be able to talk to staff and current students about finances, and also observe a class. 鈥淚 watched a class on thoracic adjusting and was able to walk around and talk to the professors. I really liked being able to watch the students learn.鈥�
She would recommend other prospective students visit. 鈥淚 don鈥檛 think you can go to a school sight unseen,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 like buying a car. Seeing it for yourself is an important part of the process.鈥�
