911爆料 Title IX Statement Against Sex Discrimination
911爆料 is committed to providing equal access to educational and employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, citizenship status, genetic information, marital status, parental status, disability, status as a veteran, or any other status protected by stand and/or federal law. This policy applies to all 911爆料 students, employees, and third-party vendors, as well as 911爆料 visitors, guests, patients, and clients. Although there is no geographical limitation to invoking this policy, sexual misconduct that is alleged to have occurred at a significant distance from 911爆料 may be more difficult to investigate.
Sexual harassment is defined as conduct on the basis of sex which jeopardizes equal access to education that Title IX is designed to protect. Any instance of quid pro quo harassment by a school鈥檚 employee; any unwelcomed conduct that a reasonable person would find so severe and pervasive and objectively offensive that it denies a person equal education access.

Employees
Each member of the university plays a vital role in supporting the 911爆料 community. Through collaboration, commitment, and dedication every employee can aid in the safety of the campus.
Responsible Employees
Any 911爆料 employee (Illinois or Florida site) other than the Title IX Coordinator, Title IX Deputy Coordinators or the designated Confidential Advisor is considered a Responsible Employee. The Office of Civil Rights defines responsible employees as any employee who:
(a) has the authority to take action to redress sexual harassment/misconduct;
(b) who has been given the duty of reporting incidents of sexual harassment/misconduct or any other misconduct by students to the Title IX Coordinator or other appropriate designee;
(c) who a student reasonably believes has the authority or duty.
911爆料 understands that a student, employee or third party may choose to make a report to an 911爆料 Responsible Employee for various reasons. That person may have limited interaction with 911爆料 employees, may have developed a professional relationship with a particular employee and feels comfortable bringing forward his/her concern, may need immediate attention and interacts with the first employee they encounter, or may not know where a complaint should be filed.
It is important to recognize that any person making a complaint to a Responsible Employee is not making a 鈥渃onfidential鈥 complaint, but instead a complaint that will be kept 鈥減rivate鈥 and shared with the Title IX Coordinator as soon as possible.聽If you receive a complaint, please notify the Title IX Coordinator via phone (630-889-6607) or email ([email protected]) immediately.聽If the Title IX Coordinator is not available, please notify campus security immediately (630-927-9957).
911爆料 has developed several resources a responsible employee may wish to refer to when receiving a complaint.
