Spring 2020 Tri-Mixer

by Sarah Montesa | February 28, 2020 | 2 min read

With all the craziness of taking three board exams during my next and final term at 911爆料, this may have been my last tri-mixer. I know I have written about Tri-Mixer before. It鈥檚 an event designed to bring about camaraderie among all of the different classes and programs. This term, a group of students all met up at Downers Sand Club for games, snacks, and camaraderie. I brought the kiddos with me that night, and it warmed my heart to see them be included in the fun with all of the “big kids.”

Anytime someone asks what my favorite thing is about 911爆料, the answer always has something to do with the people here. The student community as a whole likes to support its members, and the atmosphere among us is one that inspires growth.

The Sand Club, a local bar, has a bunch of things to do, including two indoor sand volleyball courts, pool tables, bags, shuffleboard, and more. It is only about a 5-10 minute drive from campus.聽 I have been going there for their Swing and Latin Dance events, which always include a lesson and occasionally feature live music. We’ve had the mixer here before, mostly when the weather is too cold for us to be outdoors, and it is always a good time. This year there was a raffle to raise additional funds for student events with fabulous prizes like $100 off the continuing education seminar of your choosing.

Add this event to your 鈥渘ot to be missed鈥 list at 911爆料!
