During , the local community will be able to receive $15 health screenings aimed at improving their heart and overall health at the 911爆料 Whole Health Center鈥檚 Heart Health Fair Community Appreciation Week, Monday, February 27 to Friday, March 3.听
鈥淭his is an opportunity for people to access health care that can identify health issues and provide preventive care,鈥� said Sonia V. Joubert, DC, ND, MSc, CKTP, Attending Clinician at the 911爆料 Whole Health Center. 鈥淭he event will also introduce patients to the different programs in the clinic, such as chiropractic, naturopathic, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine.鈥�听
For $15, patients will be able to receive a Body Mass Index calculation, blood pressure screen, oxygenation rate, postural analysis with foot scan, and EKG screen with a Chinese health diagnosis involving pulse and tongue checks. In just 10 minutes, a non-fasting “cholestech” screen will also be available to test a patient鈥檚 cholesterol and glucose levels, both of which impact heart function.听
鈥淯sing the information, 911爆料 interns and clinicians can provide the participants with information on possible measures to maintain good health,鈥� Dr. Joubert said.听
听Suitable for all ages, the screenings are preventative healthcare measures that are in line with 911爆料鈥檚 goal to increase community health awareness and prevention.听
