911±¬ÁÏ University naturopathic medicine student, Darius Lembert, recently co-authored an article published in the Medical Science Monitor, an international medical journal for experimental and clinical research. The article, titled  included co-authors Dr. Malgorzata E. Domagalska, who is on the physiotherapy faculty of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland, and Andrej J. Szopa, currently a physical therapist in Chicago.
Darius is originally from Silesia in Poland, where he went to medical school and was an instructor in applied kinesiology. He previously worked with his co-authors while completing a master’s degree. At that time, they conducted research based on photogrammetric studies on patients with idiopathic scoliosis. The trio is planning more research together in the future.
After Darius received treatment from a naturopathic physician who successfully helped him manage severe allergy and autoimmune problems, he decided to pursue a degree in naturopathic medicine. “I plan to expand my clinic and serve the Polish community as a naturopathic physician specializing in functional medicine and rehabilitation,” says Darius, who is currently in his eighth trimester of ND studies.
