Great eats are coming to 911爆料 University’s campus to help kick off fall trimester! Each Friday in September, a different food truck will offer lunchtime fare, parking on the drive between Janse Hall and the LRC near Lake Janse.
Here are the trucks that will be rolling in:
Friday, Sept. 5聽(11am – 2pm) –聽Best Trucking BBQ
Try BBQ pulled chicken or pork, cilantro-lime cole slaw and pepper-jack mac and cheese topped off with a bacon chocolate brownie!
Friday, Sept. 12聽(11am – 1pm) –聽Pizza Via
No frozen pizza here! This is a real wood-fired brick oven on wheels serving hand-crafted pizzas, soup, salad and dessert.
Friday, Sept. 19聽(11:30am -1:30pm) –聽
Build your own or choose from a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches with optional veggies, meat, spreads and sauces. Or, go for salad and gourmet fries.
Friday, Sept. 26聽(11am – 1pm) –聽
Meatless wonders like curry chickpeas and greens, gluten-free mac and cheese, seitan rib tips on pita, soy buffalo chik’n pita, pecan pie and more!
NEW!聽Friday, Oct. 3聽(11am – 1pm) –聽
Smoky flame-grilled chicken presented as wings, wraps, and skewers with lots of tasty sides and sauces!
Each food truck offers vegetarian options as well as gluten-free options (note: for those sensitive to gluten, food is prepared in equipment that is also used to prepare items containing gluten).
