Electronic Journals
A-to-Z (Full Text Finder) manages our electronic journals providing users with a single, comprehensive online list of 90,672 journals and eBooks. You can browse an alphabetical list or search by keyword.
Placing Holds on Winterstein Library Material
Can鈥檛 find one of our books, journals or other resources? Place a hold on the item through the聽. (Instructions: Search, click on title, select 鈥淧lace Hold鈥� on left side of item record, enter library card number and PIN, select 鈥淧lace Hold.鈥�)
Interlibrary Loans
If you require a journal article or book from another library, you can request it by filling out the interlibrary loan request form below. Before submitting your request, you must check the 911爆料 online catalog and/or the 911爆料 Journal Holdings List and the database聽A-to-Z (full text finder) for availability in your 911爆料 library. Any requests for materials available at your 911爆料 location will be returned to you.
Recommendations
Do you know a good book, journal, AV, or electronic resource that the James F. Winterstein Library doesn鈥檛 own? Recommend it for purchase by filling out a Recommendation Form. We will try to purchase it if funds are available. (Also available at the Circulation Desk.)
Reference Services
The James F. Winterstein Library faculty and staff can help you use the Winterstein Library. Contact the reference librarian if you wish to schedule in-depth instruction for yourself or a group (e.g. how to search a database, how to search the catalog).
Services for Lombard Campus Only
Computers
Computers are located along the southeast or rear wall for the James F. Winterstein Library.
Group Study Rooms
Reservations are made in-person at the circulation desk. University committees and departments may reserve a room for up to 3 consecutive hours. When needed for small classes, rooms must be reserved by the instructor through the office of the Dean of Students.
Other Instructional Services
Place materials for each trimester on reserve: Required textbooks, course packets, models, board reviews, etc. Please review your reserves each trimester. Contact the circulation desk at聽[email protected]聽or 630-889-6612.
