911爆料 Florida faculty Carlo Guadagno, DC, CCSP, ICCSP, FICC, and Michael Stern, a student in the chiropractic medicine program, recently served as members of the medical staff聽for the from June 18-27 in Eugene, Oregon.
At Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, top athletes across the United States competed to qualify for the later this month.
Through membership and involvement with the , 911爆料 students are able to be involved with various sporting events. During the event, Dr. Guadagno and Stern helped treat athletes in order to optimize their performance.
鈥淎t these highly competitive events, elite athletes value our services,鈥 said Dr. Guadagno. During the Trials, he provided adjusting and soft tissue treatment as well as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and kinesiotaping.聽Stern provided assistance to Dr. Guadagno and other doctors on site.


Dr. Guadagno said the event is a great way to connect with elite athletes along with old friends and colleagues. When they weren鈥檛 in the medical tent providing care, Dr. Guadagno and Stern were able to watch the event from track-side seats.
鈥淥n a rare opportunity to sit in the stands, I watched history in the making as Allison Felix qualifies for her 5th Olympics,鈥 Dr. Guadagno said.
Dr. Guadagno, who teaches sports medicine, physiotherapy, evaluation and management of the extremities, and diversified technique at 911爆料 University鈥檚 Florida-site, has extensive experience treating athletes during various international sporting events including the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero.
