Jodi Perrin, DC, ND, a 911爆料 University Instructor听in the Clinical Sciences Department,听was recently featured in the August issue of as part of a practitioner roundtable.

In the magazine鈥檚 cover story, Dr. Perrin discusses current trends in complementary and integrative health (CIH), including technology news, patient- and self-care and the future of CIH.

鈥淚 am seeing a rise in various endocrine disorders, such as hypothyroidism, hormone dysregulation, and diabetes. I think it is likely due to a combination of poor diet, high stress, sedentary lifestyles and the abundance of endocrine disruptors in the environment,鈥 Dr. Perrin says in the article.

Dr. Perrin adds听that the future of CIH looks bright.

鈥淚 see complementary and integrative health fields growing and becoming more 鈥榤ainstream鈥 rather than an alternative as more people learn there is a better way besides relying on drugs and surgeries that don鈥檛 address the underlying cause and don鈥檛 lead to optimized health,鈥 she says in the article.
