- Description of your personal participation in fitness and sports

- Award: 5 awards of $2,000

- Criteria:
- The author must be enrolled as a student in a US, CCE-accredited, chiropractic degree program at the time of submission.
- The author must be in good academic standing and must have passed all of NBCE Part I.
- Only one essay is allowed per student per competition.
- Deadline: June
- Awards: $5,000 in total scholarships ($2,500; $1,500; and $1,000)

- Criteria:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have declared a major or course of study for a healthcare degree or program offered at an education institution located in the City of Pinellas Park (Florida) and the institution must be a member of the Pinellas Park Medical District
- Must be enrolled 鈥淔ull-time鈥 or 鈥淧art-time鈥 as a student within a health program
- Must be in good academic standing at the institution currently attending or institution most previously attended
Founded in 1996, Health & Medicine鈥檚聽 cultivates aspiring health and human services professionals to be informed, concerned, and involved with addressing health inequities. 聽Each year, the Schweitzer Program provides 30 exceptional students with opportunities to design and implement projects to improve the health and well-being of underserved Chicago communities. Fellows鈥 projects often address the social determinants of health, and their activities frequently include tutoring, violence prevention, health education, healthy lifestyles promotion, and outreach to vulnerable and marginalized groups. Our 鈥淔ellows for Life鈥 alumni program supports our graduates鈥 further development as leaders in service, and provides them with continuing networking, skill-building and community service opportunities.

- Any student who will be enrolled at least part-time in a health related, graduate- level-degree-granting program during the Fellowship year is welcome to apply.
- Applications must include:
- Completed Application form
- A brief resume (no longer than 2 pages)
- Deadline: Established each trimester
- Award: 3 awards of $2,000
- Application: Request from Financial Aid office
- Criteria:
- Cumulative CGPA of 2.9 or better
- Enrolled in trimester 2 through 9 of the DC program
- Provide list of contributions to the college, community and chiropractic profession
- Submit an essay on specific topic as noted on the application
